Here is a full view of Doc's workshop. Doc, despite his peculiarities, is still a well respected researcher in the dual field of Robotics & Artificial Intelligence. He knows all too well that his "peers" would not look kindly upon his outside project. After all, building a Doom Robot to take vengeance upon those who have profited illegally by his research would probably be frowned upon by most grant review committees. He, therefore, secretly labors away most nights in this cramped basement workshop.
Thanks again to Kano for providing the Rattus image. Kano also created the robot's head which was modeled in Organica and optimized in 3D Studio Max 1.2 before being imported into this scene as a 3DS. The "Kano Calender" and blueprints were whipped up in Hash's Animation Master and imported as DXF's. All other pieces were modeled in Bryce 3.1 from primitives using Boolean operations and multi-replication. For those keeping score, there are nearly 15,000 individual objects and over 27 million polygons in this image.
