I

(1024x768 version)

Here's my first Bryce 4 image. Most of the objects were modeled in Lightwave then imported into Bryce 4. The new importer is fantastic and makes the task of importing much faster and cleaner. The steel dragon was constructed in Bryce from basic LWOs since Lightwave cannot save an object larger than 64,000 polys. I imported a single vertebra from LW then multi-replicated it in Bryce into the entire spinal column. I imported everything else piece by piece then postioned them as best I could. Some pieces like the desk drawer handles and bronze bookends were modeled in Bryce using tried and true tricks.

The textures are a mixture of Bryce procedurals and imported images from a number of sources. Special thanks to Kelly Lynch for scanning the Diet Coke can and M&Ms package. Much thanks to Daryl Walter for scanning several bookspines from his eclectic book collection. Thanks also to Bryan Rourke for helping me misuse departmental equipment to scan some of my own books.
