(1024x768 version)

Not quite sure what this is all about. I've been working on some techniques for the "Power of 10" project. I pulled a Poser figure into Lightwave, trying to come up with a look for the Lokia character that will eventually sit in the Throne Room. I figured out in a hurry that this wasn't gonna do for that particular project. Just another in a continuing series of surreal images that just get more weird as I learn new 3D techniques.

Bryce 3.1, Poser 3, and Lightwave 5.6. The basic Poser mesh was mutilated in Lightwave 5.6 to make the Gigeresque teddy. The organic frame, living futon , and some odds and ends were also modeled in Lightwave. The mechano parts, mechano tentacles, and various other parts were done in Bryce using Boolean operations and multi-replication. I'm particularly fond of the ridged texture on the Poser figure which is a Bryce procedural done in the Deep Texture Editor. Just trying to keep pace in my own silly way with The Great Lester Troughton. All other textures are also Bryce procedurals. Rendered in Bryce 3.1.
